To tape or not to tape - 04.28.2008, 03:26 PM

Hello,

I'm ready to glue my tires (Dirt Bonz, for a converted Revo) and I'm wondering whether I should tape them or not.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Loa

I'm sure you know how to tape up but here a picture thread I did over at the traxxas forum about it. The twist on this tape job is I add some roof patch to the duct tape. This stuff doesn't stretch at all. Duct tape will not stretch much but when the tires at such a high revolution it has seem to help keep the tires from stretching any and pull away from the tape job. Actually work better on the larger tires. You can add a strip to each side of the tape without loosing much of the surface for the tape to stick to. Anyway I've had good success with the added material.

I just think I stumbled onto how to delete my post. Cool didn't know it could be done.
