my losi 8ight conversion - 05.09.2008, 09:41 PM

heres a couple pics of what i got done so far, 7xl is the one i got for sale, just in there for layout, 8xl is taking forever! and i have to wait on a mod 1 pinion to get it up and going, that zippy is long! anyone geuss what that is for a batt tray? i think it looks good and i did a decent job on it, i was afraid the gmaxx straps wouldnt be long enough, o but they are, should go pretty good and its well balanced also, i need to get a body that is not got stupid holes in it tho, someone wanna trade this one for another, this has not been run, the body that is, anyway lmk what you guys think

My temps so far are good...w/ the mod 1 done, the esc only gets to about 105. I have only run 3 battery packs thru it. It is geared 44-18. I chose the 9xl over the 8xl due to the fact that some forum members recommended the 9xl due to better temps. I did speed runs on my last battery pack and I ran the car v/hard and the motor was only warm. (Not sure of temps as my batteries died in my temp. gun) The 9xl is only temporary as when Mike gets the Neu 1512 2.5DF motors back in, I will be getting one for my Mugen

As of right now, no fan on my esc, however, that may change in time. I have a mmm esc on order from Mike and that may end up in the buggy before all is said and done or it will go into my maxx conversion w/ 5s.

Here's my conversion: http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...x-5+conversion
