would this motor be powerful enough for a buggy?

Nope, I tested it in an emaxx and it ran hot, and then I tried it in my ls10 and it ran hot there too. Lots of power, but it needs water cooling to stay cool.

should i go with a 1600, 2000, or 2200 kv ?

For 4s, go with the 2200, for 5s the 2000kv.

Good choice, I run a 1600 v2 in my hyper8 and it has tons of power. I do run on 6s, and it is geared lower. I can only imagine what it could do with a good load and a big battery to fuel it.

Isn't the 2200 a 50 can and the 1600 a 60 can.
