I think I am going to get one for my brotherinlaws e-savage. I like that its finned and bolted togeather like the hackers. I know its the same quality as the feigaos but its cheap and doent need a clamp. so the 50 bucks shipped to your door is a good deal. As long as you treat it for what it is guess its alright.

5.5mm will get the job done, 4mm would probablly be fine. I would make sure you gear the motor accordingly. In the other thread, the one that was getting hot was being run on 5s A123 and geared 62/25 which assuming the truck has stock diffs is geared for almost 50MPH, I wouldn't shoot for more than 40 and check temps then

The day after I ordered it I received a email stating that I would receive the motor in 12-22 days its been 17 days so I will keep my fingers crossed.

so the 50 bucks shipped to your door is a good deal.

Really think about your purchases. It may only cost you $50, but if it is a piece of crap, then you have waisted $50, and will have to spend more to go in another direction. Why not just go for a good well known NEU type motor, and have a better satisfaction/experience overall. I know money is always an issue and we tend to always be in a hurry to get things done, but prudence is a better way to go in the long run. Don't be in such a hurry, and make the right decision up front. Good luck with your choice.

My issue is that I only have a 80amp esc to work with and a 60mm max can length. This is going to replace a 10l feigao I borrowed from my brotherinlaw (it was working fine in his esavage but it wasnt enough motor to push around my bigger e-revo. I would help him get a better motor if I could get one that would fit and wouldnt be to much for his 80amp mgm esc

I purchased several hundred dollars worth of connectors and cables from this company. They ship from China using regular airmail and it can take weeks to receive the orders. Some items are shipped in several packages and arrive piecemeal. However so far they have sent everything I ordered. There is a Bidproduct forum where you can get support - the company does appear to fullfill all the orders even if they are missing / faulty.

The motor in question looks exactly like a hacker once it is mounted on the truck. There is a difference - the end bell is screwed in but looks different to the Hacker when held side by side. Otherwise external construction wise it is hard to say it is not a Hacker - the colour, fins and shaft look good.

In operation it does the job. I realise that it is cheap imitation but for $46.00 you get what you pay for. If it was my one and only motor purchase I would not buy this motor but to try it out - I didn't think it was a bad purchase. If you dont push your truck to the limits and want to experiment with a Basic brushless setup on a stock truck I think this motor will work for you. A New motor will give you much pleassure but then it is 5 times more expensive.

I personally like to push the setups I have and therefore prefer Lehner, Neu or Plettenberg BL motors. I would put this motor in the same category as a Feigao - good value for money and a real Blast while it lasts.

I say put the $50 towards a Medusa Research motor... The 70mm cans are supposed to be coming out soon.
