3.3 Conversion with g-maxx single speed 3906 tranny - 10.13.2008, 09:50 AM

Guys, I'm trying to find out if there is a direct drop in center driveshaft when using the single speed conversion. My 2.5 long shafts are too short - I have about 1/2" of the slider engaged in the rear, but the front is a good inch longer.
The 2.5 Part number was 5455 - with front and rear being quite different -the longer one being the rear shaft.
The 3.3 Part number is 5456 - from looking at the exploded view, both seem to be about the same length. But are they now both the same length as the old rear shaft?

I purchased the E-Revo half shaft kit, thinking they would work. But the rear is a short little guy (similar to the 2.5 front), and the front is actually a converted driveshaft. I may end up being able to make that one work - depends on me being able to get all those damn c-clips pulled, and pressing out the pins on the yolk assemblies - one of my least favorite jobs!

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES
