Are 9918 warrenty protected? - 02.18.2005, 10:33 PM

Just incase i burn out the 9918, will i get it refunded? My setup should be good (motor won't pull too many amps for esc) and i only run about 4 inches of wire...but what kills me is that battery bars (i run side-by-side 16 cells) actually count as wire! That means on 16 cells it will almost be impossible for me to get under the maximum wire length (the schulze wire length has to be under 20 inches)
Soooo,
each battery bar is .75 inches,
18x.75=13.75 (18 battery bars total, times .75 equels total battery bar length)
13.75+5=18.5 (Total battery bar length plus actual wire length between battery and esc)
18.5+6=24.5 inches!!!!! (total battery-esc length plus 3 2 inch wires connecting the motor to the esc)
