Hmm... A Toyota Prius!! Yay! What's my prize!?

That kinda looks like a buggy, if you just hide the two titans, suspension, and the chassis :L: Is that yours?

Yes, that is my other maxx that I am building. I'm going single BL this time and I am trying to make it as light as possible. I am aiming for the 7.5 lb. range. And no, it's not going to stay looking like that.:D Although I might keep the wheels on.

A good way to keep weight down is to have a chassis similiar to truggies/buggies. Then you can use a center diff and have less bulk. Lipoies help too. What motor/esc are you planning on using?

No way! That has to be a prius! Let's just split the prize and call it even :L:

Are you going to keep the stock A-Arms, or try to find some that are lighter? A savage-style upper arm would cut the weight down a bit.

Planned on keeping the stock arms. I'll have to compare them to my Savage arms. Are they interchangeable?

I don't think you can fit savage upper arms on a maxx, I meant that you could make/find some upper arms that are more of a "T" shape, not an "A" shape. You could probably mod a Savage's arm or the maxx's bulkhead. I don't know if the weight savings is really worth all that work though.

Funny you mention the bumpers coolhand, they are next on the chopping block. As far as the arms go, I'll probably just leave them stock. All the money for this one is going into the drivtrain.
