Nope, you're not dreaming, you heard right, a massive pallet of the Castle Neu 2650Kv (based on the Neu 1512 series) has finally arrived!

This first batch will only be packaged with combos, as we don't have quite enough to fulfill all of our current backorders.

But for those of you who have been patiently waiting for the 2650Kv combo, the wait will soon be over! We will be doing some spot testing to verify they're up to spec, and then they'll start rolling out. So get your buggies ready, your LiPo's charged and have some spare parts handy because they'll be up and running shortly.

Remember these are shorter than the 2200Kv (based on the Neu 1515), so they're intended for the 1/8th buggies and not the monster trucks.

why is it too bad if yours is more than enough? this will likely be more than enough too, but smaller and more suited for car use.

So when will Castle's 1800KV version be ready ? That one is what I am dreaming of, though I already have the 2200KV combo.

Lets forget about the calculations for now. How do you know a 15 tooth is the right pinion. It could be a 12 tooth and calculated speed would only be about 55 mph. I think Edumkated radared his 1512 1.5D on 4s on 5s and he had speeds of 60 and 70 mph respectively. The Castle-Neu 2650 on 5s has about the same rpm as the 1.5D on 4s.

I plan to run the 2650 on both 4s and 5s for bashing. If you have to use this motor for racing, a high capacity 3s pack would be more suited. If only Castle came out with a version of the 1512 1.5Y, that would be great for racing on 4s-5s.

I've run the Castle 2650kv on 5s with no issues in my buggy and geared 20/51 on the GTP2 - Ran fine.

The long jump at the RCM bash was won with a CC 2650 on 5s :)

Sounds great Thomas, but I'm still saving up for the 2200 combo.
