Alternate Bodies for the Ext GMAXX - 02.21.2005, 10:12 AM

I am looking to alternate bodies for the Extended GMAXX. I have 2 of the F350 extended bodies but want something different. I have emailed Proline to get some dimensions to see if any of the Revo or LST bodies will fit.

I will post back what I find.

I think the LST bodies would be too big (wide). They would fit, but my not look as good. The Revo bodies may look alright, but they are about the same size as a standard maxx body.

One body that I am currently looking at is the Proline Revo Crowd Pleaser 2.0

Here are the dimensions

SPECS: Length: 18" (457mm)
Width: 6-5/8" (168mm)
Height: 5-5/8" (143mm)

Here are the dimensions of the F350 Extended Body

SPECS: Length: 18-3/8" (467mm)
Width: 6-5/8" (168mm) --front
Width: 7" (177mm) --rear
Height: 5-3/8" (137mm)

Actually I just checked and your right on Mike. The revo body is the same size as the stock emaxx chassis. I am surprised that the extended body is only 3/8" longer.

I was looking at the F650 but that body is 20.5" long.

The overall body length is only part of the story. Where the wheel cutouts are makes a difference on how the body looks with a longer chassis.

The F650? You think that will fit ok?

I am going to get the tape measure out tonight on put on my engineer hat. lol

I could always just go with the Proline Cadillac Escalade EXT Sport Utility Body but I am not a big fan of the Escalade SUT body. I got one of those for my pede and hated it.

I am not familiar with the f650 body. The caddy body would fit decent, but you gotta like your body (you know, be comfortable with yourself!:))

The esclade ext body works great for extended gmaxx. I looked at some others to. I look to see what I find. What company do you like. Seems like ford.

A monster gt is longer than a emaxx. That is something to check out. I think the pleazer 2.0 body is like 20 inches though.

Peace!

I just bought the Chevy Silverado HD from Proline thats made for the LST, MGT, TNX. I have a BPP Torpedo chassis. The Length is perfect, but it is a tad bit too wide. However, if I were to put some larger than stock sized tires might look right. So some 40 series Dirt Hawgs will be my next purchase. I'll have to get some pics.

i am looking for a body for my t-maxx with a jt racing chassis and for those of you that dont know it lowers the motor, ect. about like the g-maxx lowers the batteries on a e-maxx. know i bought a crowd pleaser which is about a inch to narrow because of the side exhaust and about a inch to short.i would like to have a body that will sit over the exhaust to cover the lowered chassis. will a mgt crowd pleaser 2.0 fit good?
