Savage Flux Big Bore Shocks - 02.10.2009, 11:09 PM

I just picked up my Flux and I am currently waiting on my battery packs to come in. I put it next to a Nitro Savage X and noticed that it sits significantly lower. The folks who have been running theirs have you been pleased with, disappointed in or other wise with the single shock set up?

Other people around my local hobby shop, including my friend who manages the place questioned the single shock set up. You guys are always pushing the trucks harder than most so I am curious to hear your thoughts.

I've only had mine out twice, both times on the street in front of the house. But so far I'm not concerned about them - but then I'm used to the Revo sag issue, so this seems a bit different.

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

Single shocks work great, way better handling then the double. I am unsure as to how the particular ones on the Flux hold up but I would think it would be better then even the alloy savage big bores. The plastic ones shouldn't bend shock shafts as easily from what I have been told. The old small bore double shocks did have a tendency to bend shock shafts on big landings plus there were twice as many shocks to maintain.
