How to fit 5s Lipo in E-Revo - 04.03.2009, 05:38 AM

Hi all

I plan to buy an E-Revo and fit single b/less motor system. I have a 5s lipo 6000mah I want to use and wondered if anyone had ideas how to mount it. The obvious solution is running it across the chassis where the rear motor would have been and speedo up front where 1 of the steering servos was placed (I will be converting to 1 steering servo).
Anyone done something similar? If so any pics would be great.

Other option is to convert nitro revo but that seems a little pointless!

Perhaps PM lincpimp and get him to convert the pack to a 3S + 2S pack, then you should be able to fit them in each side. I had him do this with 2 - 5S packs of mine to put them in my Savage Flux.

Splitting the pack up would be the best bet. Can a 3s pack of the cells you have fit in the revo compartment? take the height of your current pack and multiply by 3/5....
