Slipperential in RC8 / RC8T, and mods I have to do? - 04.28.2009, 03:17 PM

I am thinking of picking up the 46T and the 50T versions once they both become available at the same time for an RC8 & RC8T.

What I am wondering is what all do I need to do specifically to get this to work in my RC8 and RC8T. Are there specific mods I need to do? Will it bolt right in? Are the stock bearings the RC8 and RC8T comes with for the standard diff appropriate to work on the slipperential?

Just want to make sure when I order, don't have a suprise that I needed "X" part or do "Y" mod to make it work.

thanks.

I cant answer for the RC8, but in the RC8T I just needed to trim a little off of the spur slot in the upper diff plate. Other than that it was drop in.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
