That's pretty funny... He'd better use a 25# railroad sledge 'cause you know those turnigy lipos have an adamantium exoskeleton. It's just under the heatshrink so you cant see it....they dont want anyone to steal their secret materials.
I threw one in the fire and nothing happened. I still wouldn't hit it with a hammer LOL. It does seem malleable though, perhaps he could fashion the lipo into a swan, with a few good wacks and his face real close.
why is everyone so paranoid about lipo's going bang?
not like it's dangerous, if i owned that lipo i'd try and re-shape it first, check it's voltage and MAH cearfully then use it again.
in theroy a lipo can take any shape and still work, but no one has the balls to try that

the porthole from the noob world an here has been opened!! that's how i got in.
This lipo smoked a lot, but from where I was I couldn't see any flames. Modern lipos aren't nearly as volatile as people think they are. If he tries to use those as they are they will work fine, I've seen it before. If he pushes them hard enough they will puff up and if he continues to push them beyond that they will likely start puffing smoke. You have to really be trying to get a lipo to blow up to get one to catch fire. I shot that one repeatedly and all it did was smoke.
All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
