Crashed my SuperVee - 10.09.2009, 05:27 AM

I have had issues with this boat since I got it (factory lemon) but completely stripped it down and rebuilt it, and on my 2nd run I wrecked it It is still in remarkably good shape after the crash, but I gave it to my brother. That's the 5th time we've had to retrieve it so I told him if he wanted to mess with it he could have it. Here's the vid:

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

Its one of the reasons putting me off getting a boat myself- they look great zipping around, but if you catch a bit of wake baddly, or the wind gets under the front end, they go flying- 50:50 whether it'll land the right way up & still be driveable. I'd hate to embarass myself like that infront a crowd of tourists/ locals, plus having to have a rescue boat on hand... I dunno.

Boats are a lot of fun but also a lot more work than a ground RC, and you have to be much more careful with radio interference, water proofing, etc.

We figure I jumped it a good 10 feet, pretty good for a boat
