Spun a wheel hex inside the wheel.... -

It is COMPLETELY round haha, whups. I am wondering if copious amounts of JB weld will hold it, before I waste JB weld? Or is it time for new wheels? Anyone have any cool recommendations for a MT size wheel? Still has to be tough enough to take some HARSH abuse. I am thinking maybe solid black dished wheels. Thanks guys,
I would say either jbweld or epoxy resin should do the trick , only issue being you have to make sure the hex is centered as to avoid wheel wobble. You will have to glue the hex to the wheel permanently though- might want to add some star-like fingers to the round hole before adding the glue though, so that the glue & hex 'plug' doesnt spin out the hole - like a loose pinion spins on a round shaft- a splined pinion and shaft doesnt have that problem.
14mm alum. hex. I think the smaller hex is part of the problem, standard savage hex's are 17mm right? I am using the smaller ones that came with it. I may just pick up solid dish wheels with 17mm hex's...Hmmm.
17mm is pretty standard for the savy range yeah, not sure why they went with 14mm hexes for the FLUX considering BL has vastly more torque than nitro- no foresight
