Question where can i find a neu 1527 1.5d - 10.22.2009, 04:52 AM

I am looking for a neu 1527 1.5d. Where is the best place to find one asap. I am leaving the country soon and can't wait 3-5 weeks it takes Neu to make one. Any ideas?

This guy has a bad reputation, but has them in stock:

Aside from that, I don't know where else to get them. Mike doesn't carry 1527s and Steven @ OffShoreElectrics doesn't have any in stock, and that's where I do almost all of my RC shopping.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

I bought 3 of them from him last December and it took 3 months for me to get them. When I purchased them they were "in stock" but yet it took a whole 3 months for me to get them. Hmmm..... What to do? What to do?

I bet he just says "In Stock" then orders them once he gets an order. Chris Fine has a really bad reputation so I was hesistant to post that but it was the only place I could find that listed them as "In Stock." I think the fastest and most reliable way to get one would be to call Castle and try to get one hustled to you.

I checked eBay and the only 1527 for sale is a 1.5Y, how important is the wind to you? If you aren't going to bid on it let me know because if you don't I will.

I am stuck with a 1.5d wind, it has to match the other 3 I have. BTW is it normal to be charged sales tax for an online transaction. I put the motor in the shopping cart and went to checkout and it was like 25 bucks for taxes and another 16 for shipping. Anyway I won't bid on the one on ebay. Thanks.

You get charged sales tax if you are in the same state as the seller/store and they actually bother to collect tax. G/l on your hunt, its a more rare motor.

Perhaps you can call Neu to see what they can do for you? Maybe you can get one expedited?

You could get one from Castle since they are a distributer. Might be a bit of a wait time though since they build to order. http://www.castlecreations.com/produ...1527-1_5d.html

See if your LHS has an account w/ Castle. My LHS will order Neus for customers, I have ordered 4 or 5, and they have all come within 2 weeks (including a custom 2230). Maybe I just always ordered during slow times for Neu, but it seems like they might give slight priority to LHS orders.
