Group buy for 2" widened FLM arms for Savage- need buyers to make it happen - 12.02.2009, 10:58 AM

Saw this thread over at Savage Central and was wondering if anyone else saw it or is interested. It would be for custom extended arms from FLM, but there is a qty 10 min order and this guy is trying to get people together. I don't have an acct on SC, so I have not PM'd him yet. A number of people over here are looking at XL or 1/5th scale Savs/Fluxes, so this may be of interest.
They have a 1" widen kit, but that doesn't really perk much interest for me. 2" and now we are talking...

I am working with fastlane machine on making a new wide arm kit for the savage so we can build a true 1/5 scale truck brushless.

with the TCS chassis and these arms it will be as wide or wider than a real Baja 5T

i need 10 people for a group buy and so we can decide on how wide and beefy we want these arms.

The wide kit they offer at the moment is 1 inch total widen for $150

FLM is talking about $170 for the 2 3/4 widen kit i have been talking with him about.

I really really want to see these made and why not have other people have the opportunity as well.

this also have the ability to become a production part as well if there is enough interest

IMAGINE not having troublesome roll overs ALL the time, instead of using hub extensions just use this wide arm kit.

INCLUDES

4 lower arms
4 adjustable upper arms
4 drive shafts

1 lifetime warranty

IT does not get any better than this.

you would NOT be paying me

just need 10 people or more.

pm me if you have interest and i have to collect the people for this amazing deal.

This is something I will have to ponder. Is that Lifetime warranty against bends?? I was holding off on the kershaw 1/6 scale kit due to lack of width. very interesting.
