As per title I guess - any ideas/rumours?

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

We haven't decided if there is enough interest yet to spend the extra money to do a combo box for the 1512/1800Kv motor yet.

We have to buy the boxes in 10K quantities -- so it's pretty expensive.

Oh crikey!

I'd have thought there'd be plenty of interest from buggy racers - the 1800 motor is more suited to smaller tracks on 4S than the 2200, and to larger tracks on 5S.

Even so, what a call to have to make...

This question was specific to the 1512/1800kv but does this mean there is no plan for the other motor combos as well?

What about combo package pricing direct? Simply without the pretty box. :) I just want the motors for a couple vehicles but having extras for a lesser price is never a bad thing.

Why wouldn't it fit in the box you have for the 2650 combo? Just put a sticker that says 1800 over the 2650. Seems like a simple thing. Certainly not a reasoN not to offer the combo.

I agree. For buggy racers this would be the combo on 4 or 5s. The 2650 is only good for the track on 3s.

While your at it.... How about a bunch more winds. Would be nice to have some more selection.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Yes, that's certainly an option we are looking at now -- a generic box that could have a sticker showing the wind option.

We will have more winds available soon as "motor only" selections.

Cool & cool

I know a generic box isnt as nice as a specific one in terms of having the info/spec printed on it, but... its just a box at the end of the day, it'll either get binned or shoved in a cupboard etc.

Kinda makes me think about the customers in shops who moan about a little dent or rip on the label/packaging of their cereal or soup etc; you dont eat the packaging do you, so what does it really matter?

This would be a great idea, I'd like to get a combo but the kv's of the motors are too high for my taste. I prefer lower kv's under 1800kv, thank you for thinking about it

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
