im looking to convert my savage to Brushless and i dont want to buy mod1 pinions ( i have an emaxx with 5mm 32p pinions already) i dont car if i have to rig it either.

You would have to change the slipper unit around some for others to work. I am not sure what you could go with.

Stick with the MOD1. it is a heavy truck. You need to invest anyway, spur or pinions.

my savage isnt as heavy as my e-maxx and i still use 32pitch gears in that, havent stripped a single gear yet. i found a way to use one but i havent finished converting it yet to test it.
