That's cool. I am gonna make an A123 starter pack with cells I have sitting around.

Question? Why is he afraid of 12V? Or is it the heat from the wires?

I didn't know what to expect, better safe than sorry.

The contacts got very hot but wouldn't of been touching them had my kept my sleeves up.

Here's a proper lipo powered car:

"Kokam Li-Po batteries have arrived - 200 Ah 3,7 V cell with weight of only 4 kg!"

http://www.ad-pecjak.si/ECO/newsEespace.htm

"We drove 193 km on pure electric drive without charging the batteries and they still had 3,56V per cell what means about 20% of the total capacity!!!"

At least we know in a pinch that we can rely on using R/C Lipos to start our 1:1 cars. Why not? Just when you thought that you have seen everything eah??

Wow!!! - 04.11.2010, 10:26 AM

WOW 11.555 at 110 mph. That is just awesome for the electric boys. I bet that was really making some guys think about their hi powered fosel fuel burners in a different light. That is just great to watch. I wish I had the $$$$$ to do somthing like that. If we can turn out a rubber burner like that, then we should be able to turn out an electric vehicle that can run 200 to 300 miles on one charge easily. I would have to believe that we will have conversion kits available for any car out there within the next 5 years or so that is also affordable. Nice video.

Still using brushed though...

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
