My ofna ultra lx1e - 08.14.2010, 05:13 PM

Hey!
Just finshed getting the ofna 100% ready to run! :D

Using a 2650kv MMM on 4s..Put on the Tbone bumper set, and some 10k oil in the center..and some new wheels :D

Wondering..what should be next on my list..from what I've seen though...I think it'll last a while before something goes :P

Looks great, beat the snot out of it !
4s & 2650 should be plenty fast !
Lets see under the lid, or is it bashful ?
Can't go wrong w/Suprasales for basher buggy tires either.

I looked.. and LOsi 8ight shocks can be had cheaper.. but I didnt have to buy my fronts, they were givin to me, I just had to identify them, and find rears.. so I am into the whole set for 45.00

you COULD find 8ight shocks, if you are diligent and patient, you can get them on teh bay for a good price.. i'll start looking for a online store with a fair price for ya, once i get part numbers..

Any kind/brand of BB shocks are gonna cost at least $75.00 for the set, even on Fleabay.

Arvint,

looks great, man!

one thing...you might wanna stiffen up the center diff. 10K in the center with that setup imo is very loose for anything but very hard packed dirt. my basher has 50K in it and sometimes i can still see the front unloading. it'll also make the buggy alot faster.

Oh yeah, this is the wish list:
Ofna aluminum rear arm pin holder

Xtreme racing CF steering brace
Xtreme rc CF center diff brace

PCR Front shock tower OR xtreme rc CF towers
PCR rear shock tower
PCR steering plate
PCR front upper arm plate

Wheels:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Spoke-Wheels-4
Tires: XTM racing sandrail stock tires (they seem like a direct copy of the geolanders, which I LOVED in 1/10th stadium trucks..

Wondering...On this buggy, should I be scared of using xtreme rc CF? As I want to lighten it..but not decrease the durability..

anything carbon fiber should be avoided on an 1/8 buggy imo.
