So Castle Closed On Nov 25th AND Nov 25th??? - 11.30.2010, 10:07 PM



Was i the only one that noticed this??? on black friday when i ordered my motors i noticed the top banner and thought it was kinda funny. Simple typo but kinda funny. Anyway else noticed it??

BTW ordered 1717 and 1518 with that black friday pricing CANT WAIT TO GET THEM! WAY TO GO CASTLE!!

castle has a time shrinking machine that allows them to fit 2 day in one!

Likely CC were testing the new "150c ultra gangsta race spec edition lipos" from brand X and it will take at least one 48hr day in order to get a full 150c discharge. And some magic beans and a flux capacitor.

My favorite quote from the Chicago show - "It's rated at 150C discharge. And it will take 150C discharge for three minutes."

The bull*hit being slung around in this hobby is amazing.


(BTW - at 150C discharge, a battery would go from completely charged to completely dead in 24 seconds. )

I wonder which company that was?

Although, they have since stated the 150C is burst, while sustained burst is 100C and 75C continuous. Judging from graphs posted by others, I see them as no more than 30C continuous and maybe 60C burst at best. There is a pretty good thread around here discussing this very product...
