New to the cold...Lipo Storage Safe Temperatures??? -

So new to Utah and looking for best storage option in the cold. Dont really want as many lipos as I have on the inside. So I have a ammo box that stays out in the garage. My garage probably drops sometimes down to 30 degrees. Is this a safe temp for lipo storage??
I have probably 30 Lipos from 2s to 6s in this box.... is this just a fireball waiting to happen. All have adequate charge.
Which part of Utah are you in? I'm just south of Provo.
I just keep all my lipos in a balsa wood box between the water heater and a propane tank. lol
Actually, they're in an ammo box in my office. No problems in six years. I have even shot fully charged lipos, and got nothing more than smoke from them.
I think the biggest concern is overcharging them or dead-shorting them. Keep them at 60% charge when not in use, and you shouldn't have any problems bringing them inside. If they're just sitting there in a box, they lose power until they die, from what I've seen.
yup, I always pop my extra AA (etc) batts in the fridge too for storage.
Just make sure yo warm them all up before using them! (charging or discharging)
