1s lipo chargeing question - 03.14.2011, 08:30 PM

I have a small heli that uses 600mah 1s lipos. If I set my lipo charger for .6 amps and 1s will it know when to stop charging the way it does when I charge packs with multiple cells and a balance plug? Could I safely charge it at a higher amp setting, 1 amp maybe, or should I keep it at .6 amps?

Or am I better off sticking to the wall wart charger thats made for them?, it usually charges them up in about 45 minutes.

Honestly, I'd stick with the wall charger that came with it. If you really want to use the other charger then stick to a 1C charge rate (0.6 amps). The charger will work fine- no balancing is needed when charging 1s and the CC/CV cycle is the same.
