If you had to choose only one rc to keep from all the RC you've had - 04.08.2011, 12:03 AM

Which one would you pick. It is taking so long to sell all of my rcs I am having second thought about selling them all. Thinking maybe keep at least one of them to screw around with. My choices are getting narrowed down. I only have 4 left to sale out of the 13 I had when I got the hair to sell. The G3R, the Savage XL, Losi XXL, and the XTM Rail. Out of those I think I will keep the Rail. It's fun, light, has a small foot print, and only 4s lipo setup, and is proving to be pretty stout. The G3R I couldn't take out and beat up. The other two are big and require larger lipos, the LST needs finished. So yeah I would keep the XTM Rail. Now if I was to choose an rc out of all the ones I have owned. That is going to have to take some thought. I really like the Rampage MT gasser, but the noise was something I always worried about even though no one ever complain. Plus, it was the size of a golden retriever. I was always tripping over one of the 5th scales.......... Hmm which one...

Hmm..though choice..Sold alot of rc's..most of them don't stay for to long..
The two favorites would have to be my mod sc class slash (Not a slash anymore..only the body mounts, screws, and tranny gears are stock :P)..and the buggy that got me into 8th scales, the ofna ultra lx1e. Although, I'd probably odly keep my slash, although it's not the fastest, it just never failed me :O

though I haven't had one yet, if i could only have one I'd like an 1/8th scale etruggy (will have to wait till I actually see one till I decide for sure though).
Of all the ones I've owned, Savage Flux for sure.

Why you ashamed to go bashing with a fellow that only owns a rail? lol

The Losi 8B conversion was my first taste of the 8th scale buggies. It is on the list of possibles.

Looking at it from a third party view it seems to me that you have had the most fun playing with your Baja 5b, and you love the 1/5th scale R/C's best, right? I would keep that one. Plus with the GAS engine setup and recovery is also the easiest one to get ready in a hurry and play with when the girly allows it. All you have to keep on standby is the batteries for the radio and reciever and your good to go.

You should definately sell the XXL...;-)

The cars that put the biggest smile on my face are the Stampede and Mini LST2 (although most people won't agree on that choice).

The rail would be good to keep for the reasons you stated but if it were me I would worry about using it as the first step to build a new collection with. I imagine you still have all the tools and accessories and affilliated gear so what's one more?

If I did choose one it would be a truggy set up for bashing. It's a nice concoction of size, handling, fun, clearance.

My G2R any day of the week, though I'd probably get a regular E-Revo chassis to swap in when I bash with it...

BL Revo: CF G2R, LMT1940/7, 6S FP 30C Lipos, MMM, Hitec 5955TG
CRT .5: 7075 Ext Chassis, LMT1930/7, FP 25C 3S Lipos, MM

Yeah the 5b sure got the gasser fever going. The rampage was better for me but again they just took up too much space and the noise bothered me that it bothered other people.

Another great idea. I think I should sell it to member here. You got any money Bart? I got some other rollers.

Ah, now there someone who knew where my mind was when I decided to sell everything. The addiction starting all over again is scary. Some of you fellows have had help keeping your addiction in check. Not me I've been free to play and spend spend spend for the last 5 years. It just got out of control and took over the place. Josh has been here looking for parts once or twice and I think he can tell you behind my back what a messed up dog I have. I think he found the parts he was needing also. Well, those days are over, I am in control of my disease now. Just one isn't going to hurt me, I can handle it.... Wait it's already starting I just bought a charger to replace the one I sold a week ago. What do I need a lipo charger for....

BP-Revo scores with another simple but brilliant idea. I never thought of that, heck it the chassis that diamond in the ruff. I could take the chassis off the G3R and run it. That's a great idea.

Have to say that the 2wd pede is pretty fun. I am slowly getting mine to the unbreakable stage, and will eventually settle on a motor esc setup and leave it alone.

I would keep the xxl, best rc you have in the list... All of my savage stuff will be going up for sale this weekend. Just need to find a table big enough to spread it out on to take pics.
