RC- Monster MRX5 brushless conversion kit - 09.28.2011, 10:34 AM

Hello everyone!

I just sent Mike a message asking him for a direct fit brushless conversion assembly for the Mugen MRX5.

I thought it would be good to share this with the people here. Espicially the ones who are interested in getting their Mugen MRX5 converted to brushless by the masterful hands of Mike Cronin.

Well, who would like to see this conversion comes to fruition?

If Mike agrees to make me one, I'll be the one to send him the kit to use it in making this conversion. :)

Would be interested in it also. I've been designing one on the side, but haven't made much progress and don't really have access to a machine shop anymore.

Ive been studying this, but it uses smaller packs. No idea on how much run time they get either.

I've seen that clip befor, thunder!!! Super fast!

BTW, thanks alot for replying. I thought I was the only one who's looking for Mike's help to make a decent brushless conversion kit for 1/8 on raod cars. I'm really glad you jumped into the boat in time.
If you could make side battery trays on both sides of the car, it'll be easy to use regular size lipos( AFAIK). I'm planning to throw in a dual 3s pack for a total voltage of 22.2v. If Mike responds fast enough( it's been almost a week now), I'll think about the powerplant I'll be using with this car. Let's hope for the best.
