My New Toy - 06.09.2006, 04:37 AM

Thought I'd post some pics of my e-maxx, i got it off Ebay along with

UE WideTtrac Arms
UE Steel Idler Gears
GA Bulkheads
Pro-line Powersroke Shocks
Pro-line Steering
Lunsford Hingepins
MIP CVD's
HPI Wheels
HPI Dirt Claw Tries
Hexcrew AP Screw Kit

I'm only running stock motors at the mo, Dean connectors on the way then chassis upgrade then brushless :027:

The Only thing I've found is there seems to be a lot of sagg with the shocks not sure what oil is in the shocks as i got them from, yes you guessed it Ebay. If i take the wheels off, the chassis sinks down onto the skids, i take it thats not right? guess the stock springs should be OK should i up to 40wt oil or harder springs?

Anyway hope you like it, its not quite bling bling yet, still saving!

And before anyone says, yes the front wheels are on the wrong way round :005:

Nice find!! If you can get hold of them try the stiffer springs on the powerstrokes

Cheers CabKing, its not quite up there with your E-revo, now that is a nice truck! It did'nt come with all the other bits unfortunately, they were other Ebay specials.

I'll have a look at the stiff springs see where i can get 'em, do you know of anyone in the Uk that sell 'em????

Looks plenty good to me, there are some good parts on it!!
Mike got mine stiff springs for me, CML import proline into the UK you can ask your LHS to see if they can still get hold of them.

I love a Maxx too http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2...king/?start=20

It depends on what your doing with the truck but, I like my arms level no matter what. Its great for racing and keeps it from being so prone to roll over. Depending on how heavy your truck is, you might not need the firmer springs. My truck was around 9lbs. and it had the stock setup and was almost perfect.
