Hi !

And i'd like to buy a mambamax 5700kv motor for it but hey seems to be out of stock everyvere !! so i'd like to know if the feigao 370c 6L or 6s wpoud be a good motor for my rustler ? and which controller ?

I would go for the Feigao 380C 6L and a Quark 125 or either the Mamba Maxx ESC.

Not sure on top speed. It would pull wheelies no problem. A Quark 80 would do. Thats what I meant in the first place :p. It will definately be faster than a GTB 6.5.

The stock brush motor is a 12T 550 motor and traxxas clames that the new rustlers will go like 35mph. will the feigo 380c 6L on a 6cell gp3300mah nimhpack be a lot faster and give mor runtime than the stock motor ?

To get their 35mph, you have to run a 7 cell and the bigger pinion that comes with the truck. So it doesn't do 35 on 6 cells, and it probably is overgeared for general running with the "35mph" setup.

The 12T 550 motor sounds pretty cool for a stock setup... it's different and I don't think anyone really knows yet how it runs. I'm guessing it runs pretty strong but sucks some battery too.

But no doubt... the 380c6L should give better runtimes and better performance overall.

You will pretty much get better runtimes with almost any sensorless BL motor since there far more efficient.

it'll be faster!!! trust me! I really don't think the traxxas speed gauge is right. the Jato imo, does not do 60 mph!

If I were you I would wait for the Mamba Max system. It will be worth the wait to have no thermals and great ugradable software. It can also handle more than six cells.
