Whats wrong here? - 09.10.2006, 05:47 PM

I wired up my revo finally and it doesn't power the esc is there something wrong with the wiring?

Looks likw you need to pull the red wire from the 125's rx plug. I don't know if anything bad happens having both the rx pack and the 125 bec both plugged in.

Other than that I don't "see" anything wrong. Did you turn the switch on? :)

yeah lol but even without the rx pack it still acts doesn't turn on and the batt sparks when i plug it in....at the connection...

the spark is normal, happens to me too. do you have everything plugged into the rx correctly? sometimes people over look that.

also does the led come on when you turn on your esc?

It is normal for it to spark when you plug the batteries in because that tells you that the ESC's capacitors are being charged (a good thing).

Do you have another radio system to try or that you can borrow from a buddy (if any of your buddies are into RC)?

EDIT: Looks like cemetary beat me...

also the lead comes on and it beeps but then it goes right back off...

it was the system it has a bad reciever i switched to another and it's working just gotta program it

You may want to take the red wire out of the rx plug to esc. It disconnects the bec in esc.

when running the servo doesn't have much throw but works otherwise fine...actually i had the throttle adjusted wrong and thing went crazy and i just completely blew out one tire lol...it was an rdlogics tire prebuilt...well it unglued it and the foam came out lol...this thing has some power

you have the steering servo in channell 2...needs to be in channel 1
esc is in channel 1....needs to be in channel 2
...switch those & see what happens...

haha now everytime i start her up it spikes power lol until ican turn the esc off...I adjusted the thottle and it's still weird i have to adjust some more...but because of this i've destroyed 2 tires lol...they came right off the rim the savage tire actually split in half lol....darn this thing is crazy

ok so now all of a sudden it works when i push reverse on the throttle sorta like pushing brakes and then the motor spins...whats up with that? it won't recognize normal way as throttle but it will as a brake...i have to find something to make it right
