Pit Table/Workbench Light?? - 09.27.2006, 08:08 PM

Anybody know were to get the pit table/work bench light all the racers use? I have never been able to find a link to get one or who makes it...If you don't know what light I'm talking about, here is a link to see the light I'm talking about. I'm looking to get one along with one of those skins...Thanks in advance for the help!

I don't quite know what you mean, but if you check your local machinery store, (for mills/lathes etc) you should be able to find the nicest spotlights you can get.

Ott light is the original brand of these lights.. and there are some other brands too. You can find them in fabric stores and they run about $70 retail and $40 on sale.

I have found them for about $25 online before but never got one then. I got one this summer for $40 from a local fabric store. I couldn't find a black one though... that would be cool. Mine is white....

That is nice as well! I was just looking for something thats bright, low energy consumption, and it would fit in my box for races, and could use it on my work bench when wrenching as well. I think I'm gonna be getting one soon I think...

This is a rather tall one.. i got a VERY tiny one from Ikea.. which would suit your needs i am sure.. Don't know if you guys know ikea though.. I've seen them all around the world..

it's smaller than small, takes 20W on 12V, so you can run it from your chargers powersupply..

if you want i can check his name.. Should be something like Onno, bonno, Lonny Honny or something..

We have Ikea here in the states. There is one located in Schaumburg, Illinois for those in the Suburban Chicago Area. Probably numerous other locations as well.
