Yet another LBA10 question -
12.09.2006, 05:43 PM
I'll make it shout and sweet, just got my 8000mah maxamp lipo's and LBA10 balancer. Very impressive looking. I noticed it has the same plug as my polyquest twenty 3s 3700 pack, with the 3s adapter can i use the LBA10 with the PQ pack? The wiring is the same.
thanks for you're time.

If the connector fits, then it's just a matter of making sure the wire order matches what is on the LBA10. There's a diagram on the last page of the included "manual" that shows how the cells attach to the balancer. If that's what yours looks like, then it should be fine!

I say try it. The LBA10 does have diagnostics that will tell you if it's not wired right. The only thing you'd probably have to watch out for is if you somehow hook the connectors backwards, but the connectors are keyed so that shouldn't be a problem. I'd measure the voltage on the connector though jsut to be sure the wire order is what the LBA expects...

Thanks BrianG and Leroy, I think it will be fine, just wanted a confirmation. I got a PQ 3s balancer but it looks like a 4s balancer mis-wrapped (had four black and one red wires instead of three and a red) I wasn't sure if it was right but looks like i don't need to worry
