so i just received mine, i installed it correctly.... but the speed controller doesnt have power now? i clipped the red wire like it said, but it seems to have taken out the sc?:035:
am i missing something here?

Some speedcontrollers need the red wire, it provides them power. what speedo have you got? i know the BK manual explicitly tells you not to loose the red wire with the warrior controllers. With the micro's you need to unhook the red wire though.

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

he was talking Ubec, so i assumed it was brushless. All he should need to do is turn off the esc and run it with the Ubec, all the switch does is control the bec and with that off it will run with any input source (UBEC or reciever pack). this is standard on any Novak based setup( not sure about others. Put the middle wire back in and leave the switch off and it will work fine with the ubec

Cool, Glad it worked. Thats how i setup the esc when i don't have a battery charged enough to power the system
