Well, the power output of that motor is 196 watts, so if its 85% efficient, the powerinput would be 230 watts, On 6 cells, it's about 6.9 volts, resulting in a 33.3 A load.

Though the peaks can be higher.

Thank You Serum !
Also will a 3300 mAh battery pack rated at 30 amp's have the capacity to give the Novak motor all the amp's it could use ?

Thanks !

Sometimes those packs are rated for 30A, but they are spotwelded with thin tin plates. I would not put any money on them.

Your better of with highquality packs, build with GP3300's (they go for around 30-35 dollars each)

Yes, I started building my own packs years ago, I use Novak silver solder & pure copper bars, with 2 Weller 100/140 watts guns.
1 gun per bar, put a fan on it & grab the other, seems to work well.
I just built my first 3700 matched pack. The batteries cost $ 89.00 but they really put out !
I think I'm going to pitch the solder & go with lipo !!
It is a hard move for most of us concidering the investment we have in the chargers, power supply's, batteries ect.... But in the long run it will be worth it !
