Mike's work - 02.26.2007, 07:17 PM

Mike thank you for my new adapter. For those those dont know mike machined me a (ofna) diff gear adapter for my mbx 5 & it's fits perfect. He know has a cad file for the mbx 5 ( ofna) gear adapter. So if any of you need a adapter for a mugen buggy please dont hesitate to have mike make one. You will not be disapointed.

YOURS TRULY

HIPPIE

Although all I hear is good things about Mikes work, I requested a custom shaft to be made on the 6th January and it's now nearly March, so 7 weeks.

Still havn't got a shaft made. I don't mind waiting at all, it's awesome that Mike does custom favours like this but I could of got one made in the UK for a little more in about 3 weeks.

Plus, I have to keep e-mailing him to find out what's going on which I dislike, he should be telling me there was a mix up and that it's taking some time, about 10 days a go he said it would be ready in "the next day or so".

So to think it's 7 weeks in, still no sign and then another week when completed for delivery I'm very dissapointed.

Still, Mike is awesome from everyone elses feedback and my past deals I've done with him, the positive definatly out weighs the 1 or 2 negatives. I'm just saying I'm dissapointed. :(

Mike is a very busy guy, he has alot of things going on bussiness & personal wise in his life. Maybe you should call & talk to him. I've always had very good luck with my dealings with him. Could it have gotten lost in transit ?. Most of us live in the US so we get our stuff faster, i guess were spoiled LOL.

I have also bought many things from Mike and it has been shipped very quickly. He said that the motor mount for my Xterminator will be done by the weekend, and he still hasn't emailed me back... so I'll probably email him tonight or tomorrow to see what is going on.

But none-the-less, he does some aweosme work.

He mailed me, got it sorted, lots of problems, from delivering the wrong bits too him, bad oxidizing process (or something), stuff like that basicly hell opened up on my shafts. :mad:1 Not Mikes fault obviouslly.

I read your post yesterday - and have had the same problem with the shafts - however - i can attest to the problems mike has had getting the correct products in - ( i have been there when they arrived - incorrectly done or sized ). I didnt want to chime in until you got your answer from the "Monster" directly. Im glad it worked out for you...

Hows that "Hope and Change" working out for Ya???
