Oh yeah. Some of those looked like potential back/neck breakers. They can just keep that stuff - I'll just stick to crashing my R/Cs...

the guy on the street bike and the guy that landed on the trackloader were jumping at the same place. Whoever went second is not a quick learner.

The guy on the streetbike had to be the stupidest of them all...Then again, I can't say anything since I've had a few crashes like some of those...

I'm quite confident a few guys died in that film (more specifically, the dude that hit the bulldozer next to the foam pit - you could see blood all inside his helmet).
Any yea...the guy on the streetbike was a moron - the thing just accelerates too fast compared to a dirt bike - its like asking to overjump...

I saw the full video of the guy hitting the bull dozer and he didn't die. He had to get a bunch of stitches.
Pretty crazy movie. It is hard to believe that the human body can take such incredably insane and hard crashes and abuse.

Yeah, and then there are the stories where someone dies from a simple fall. Go figure...

I saw those pictures a couple months ago. Really gross, and tragic for the parents.
The story I read said stuff like "...pronounced dead at the scene from head trauma..." and other euphemisms. The fact is that she was doing well over 120mph, probably more along the 130-140 lines. The pictures I saw included pictures of the Honda she clipped, and the entire left rear quarter of the car was gone. She hit it so fast that it just ripped that part of the car off. Just from that you can easily tell her speeds were at least 70mph faster than the Civic's if not more. Assuming the Civic was doing 70mph (since its a toll road, average speeds are rather high) that puts her doing a good 140.
I know she was going much faster than the Civic due to the amount of damage. In cases where cars T-Bone other cars doing 50mph, and the damage is no where as bad, not to mention that side-impacts are the worse rated. So for that much damage to come from a rear impact, its quite obvious she was going very fast.
This is another reason why insurance rates for young drivers in fast cars (and young drivers in general) are so high.
I happen to drive a ~330hp car and I'm just 16. However, the fastest I'll cruise at is 80mph and I only go faster than that to pass someone or something. Under no circumstances will I exceed 90mph.

The pics in those 2 links are pretty gross. I think the mods might want to consider deleteing them, i may be wrong but i dont think the kids that come to the site need to see that . No disrespest intended at all E-maxx but i think you can understand . Just my opinion .
