tekno motor mount for revo, question please - 11.29.2007, 11:49 PM

http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/4...plate01ak8.jpg

Is somebody could tell me the total widht of this piece please.

Because i'am to convert an 1/8 scale buggy and i would like to use this mount to keep the clutch bell, and i'll use a mechanical brake.

My main goal is to have the trigger feeling of a nitro engine on an electric.

Thank you!

You should post this in the Tekno section. I'm sure he'd measure one up for you.

It's a little wide for a buggy, only would have fit on the engine side of my 8ight, not the rx box side. I don't have my Revo handy otherwise I'd measure it for you.

OK thank you, so i suppose that it will not fit on a mugen mbx5r on the Rx box side. Too bad, i would like to have a clutch style drive on my buggy.

Well you don't need that mount to have the clutch, look at the build thread for my 8ight, it's in my sig. Also, the 8ight is a very narrow chassis buggy, so it might very well fit in yours.

I'm heading out to my truck to grab the Revo, will have the measurement in a couple min...

Yea, I would think since the 8ight has the offset driveline, it would pose a problem, but I think it might work on the MBX5.

Ok, without taking it off my Revo, I got it at about 2 and half inches.
