Hyperion vs. Flight Power vs. Neu Power - 12.18.2007, 09:37 AM

i am looking for some 2s lipo packs for my gorilla maxx. i was looking at around 5000mah. I will be charging with a hyperion 610i charger and running a neu 1515/1y. I was looking at Hyperion, Flight Power and Neu Power packs. Was wondering if any one has ever had any experience with Hyperion packs as i know flight power are some of the best. Its just that the hyperion charger comes with a hyperion balancing port so if i could i would just get hyperion packs. Let me know what you think.

I have had flightpower and hyperion packs, I like flightpower better. Probably not much real difference in them though.

they should all be good packs. I have a 2s neu and like it because it has the hard case. The only thing is you would need a different balancing plug.

the flightpowers and hyperions are both enerland cells (the hyperions are factory enerland) I believe the Neu's are enerland as well. all are great packs

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Right on Crazy...I do believe all 3 of these packs based on the same cells from the same factory???

Just buy whichever of the 3 you can get the best deal on.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Hyperion and FlightPower use the same Enerland cells but flightpower match there packs so they hold balance better, I probably put 50 cycles through my FP 20C 4350s before i got a balancer and upon connecting the balancer for the first time it switched off right away as it needed no balancing whereas some polyrc 20C 4350s (generic enerlands) I got needed 5-10 mins balancing before I had used them, but as everyone has a balancer these days is that difference worth the price? I am very happy with my flightpowers and was also very happy to get 3x 2s pollyrc for £25 cheaper than my 4s flightpower.

I don't beleive that the Neu 30C packs are enerland, the capacity's are different to the ones listed by FP, Hyperion and polyquest.
