I ride as well. I think I'm about to sell my CR125R though. :( I also ride BMX, but haven't to much lately. Other than that, I mostly work on my truck.

Advantage!!! -

Take advantage of that while you still can . Once you get into your 30's & 40's it gets harder and harder on your body . I used to do all of that plus waterski, boogy boarding, and race go carts, but there are so many things that get in the way as you get older. Like marriage, kids, work, and the body just cannot keep up any longer. I still love trails on the dirtbike, and carting when I can, but one can only afford so much money for the fun stuff, if you know what I mean . The wife has to be able to buy her stuff to .
We have been spending a lot of our time and money on travel these days touring around Europe and Asia. That only leaves so much for hobbies. Still I am trying to have some fun doing my builds. I have 4 versions of the E-SuperMaxx and building them is takning up a lot of my time and money trying to acheive that bullet proof aspect and still manage 40 to 50- mph. I am waiting on some electronics right now and have more on my Xmas list, so I have to wait on Santa for those.
I also find as much time as possible doing woodwork, but living overseas makes that a little bit hard to do.

I am a hobbyist level gunsmith and enjoy collecting firearms. I like to modify my guns and target shoot. I do not hunt as I have no interest or time for it. Most of my collection is handguns, however I do have a few rifles and shotguns. Most are weapons that have seen military service, and any gun that has a different mechanical operation from the norm is interesting to me. Much like RC it is addictive and can be costly, I probably dropped 4k this weekend on my new gun safe and a ton of ammo!
I also like to do performance mods to fast cars/truck and sportbikes. And car stereo installs. I only toy with my own vehicles though. Since I own an auto body shop I have enough work to do on full size vehicles. Makes working on RC or a gun a break from the norm. I also custom paint full size cars and boats, but that is more like part of my job than my hobby!

I'm into all things audio, pro, mobile, analog, digital. I've got an obsession with tube based audio equipment and high end speakers that produce lifelike sound and detail that will make your jaw drop.

I am also into sterio equipment. Have Krell and B & W speaker set up I really enjoy listening to. I also have this 30 plus year passion for surfing., still going strong. I live at the beach and it is also where I mostly run my RCM inspired brushless EMAXX, set up for sand..

<----- another audio and videophile here. my stuff isn't top of the line, but it's pretty good - a sony 36" HDTV hooked through a wicked stereo system and xbox 360... i have a Pioneer Elite THX certified preamp/tuner, and a nasty Klipsch surround speaker system. i think it'll make my neighbor's walls shake, lol.
i'm also into guitars - i have a Larrivee limited edition (#1 of 50) acoustic guitar, and a Gibson Les Paul that i play through a Gibson Super Goldtone amp (which was discontinued a few years ago).
oh - and a totally custom Trek full suspension freeride mountain bike that i beat the tar out of in spring/summer/fall. it's currently muddy, and i need to clean it for winter storage.
i think that's it, aside from my r/c's of course!

audio, and this is/was huge for me(got a sweet FM acoustics 800A amplifier, a 100W pure class A tube amplifier that needs some love, that puppy uses handwinded transformers, straight till 120khzor 150khz and weights a nifty 210lbs) currently tinkering on some new speakers. my challange is to create an impressive bass/soundfield from relative small speakers. i'm going compound and measured some speakers who seem to have the right t/s parameters to suit my bass-needs. I want to use an active crossover, (using it on my car too, and i love it) got a MLSA pulse measuring device to measure the speakers, (frequency response, waterfall, determine t/s paramaters) basicly i enjoy anything which involves a tinkering/creating part, i spent a lot mountainbiking/biking, building furniture. biking takes a large amount of my usual day. Just finished a 29er salsa mamasita, build from ground up.
This is one of my latest project, the sub. it does what it should do.

By comparison I am a simple minded folk. Before RC I was mainly into drawing/doodling crazy ideas, then I got my Madbull at about 16 y/o, then after school/6th form I entered into the workforce & saved up enough money to buy my TXT-1, which became a labour of love. I also enjoy shooting airguns, but at the moment I have no-where to shoot; no clubs near by. Besides that I enjoy browsing the internet, music (eclectic tastes), Airfix kits and tinkering with stuff- mechanically minded I guess. Here are my girlfriend substitutes:

RWS Series 500+ .177 calibre & Hawke Sidewinder 6-18x50 scope.

Weihrauch HW75 .177 calibre target pistol
And my Airfix collection:

NRA Highpower rifle competition, guns in general, sportbikes and vintage Mopar restoration (when I have time). I've been forced to take a break from competition due to major career direction change (from employee to self employed). But I'm moving in the direction to get back into shooting shape and see if I can still do it. I hold 3 classifications - Master in HighPower Rifle, Master in HighPower Rifle Long Range and Expert in 3 position outdoor (rimfire). I build all my own ammo (except rimfire) and the rifles I use in competition. I'm waiting on a chambering reamer for a 6mm based rifle project now.
Have a mint '84 Yam RZ350 in red white and blue (didn't care for the yellow and black) with the rare factory rear seat pillion. Current ride is a 95 CBR600F3. Working on restoring a 71 Ply Duster and upgrading from a Slant 6 to 360 V8. New A frame, engine, trans and rear end are already built, next step is start disassembly of the car.
