Lot's more news to come over the next few weeks, so thanks for your patience.

There ya go. A real date (well, month at least) and I believe this one. Start saving your pennies kids, it's gonna be a wild summer!

Well at least they do attempt to keep the general RC public somewhat informed of the goings on with their products. Try and ask questions of any kind for information of current stocks or future plans of suppliers like UE. all you get is mind your own business or no answer at all. At least CC has some idea of what customer service is about.

Who needs MMM when there is MGM :)
CC keeps general public informed about MMM for year and a half? Thats like Tekin and their Monster ESC.
Do what traxxas does -> be quiet untill the product is really ready to ship.

Yeah, it probably will be wild. People have been waiting so long with so much hype and anticipation, that those ESCs will fly off the shelves - at least at first. Will probably be like a tickle-me-Elmo type of craze.

Well, since most of us folk live in the US, dealing with Castle is far easier than dealing with MGM.
Besides, even tho the MGM are nice controllers, I don't think the MMM will have the funky reverse issues that the MGMs do. I know it's not a big deal, but that plus a lower price make the deal for me.

I have actually been put off MGM due to the many issues people have with them. They appear to be difficult to program, and the weird brake to reverse issue makes me wonder. I will buy a MMM and give it a try. I have been happy with CC other products.

Even though it has taken some time to get this product out to us you can bet that there will still be some issues to deal with . I am shocked that they are not using the BETA guys to start testing these controllers before putting them on the shelves for us to spend our hard earned money on. I hope like most of us that it is a great product, but how often does that happen right out of the gate? It will more than likely be a great unit, but it will still have some growing pains to go through. That is just the nature of the business.

Which is why I'm gonna hold off until everyone else discovers the bugs and issues...

Not sure exactly what you are basing this on? If it's because you haven't heard of any beta happening doesn't mean it hasn't happened.
Remember the rules of NDA testing: Those who actually do it, can't talk about it. Those who talk about it, generally don't do it.

Sure for you guys in US CC is easier to deal with. For me MGM is as easy as it can be :)
Programming MGM with card/usb-com is very easy and card can be taken to field (who wants to drag his laptop when racing)
Also after 2 quarks died I had no other choice and since going to MGM i am very happy with my ESCs.
CC pc interface enables lots of setting which is nice but it is still just a pc interface :) - thats why I got rid of mamba25 for my small truck and got mgm as I can share the programming card.
Anyway I just hate seeing "coming soon" for more than few weeks
We'll see when it comes out and people will get some experience with it.

quick off topic question with mgm controller do they still have problems if you only use mechanical brakes and eliminate reverse? broke (internal physical damage) another quark and need new esc.

It's true, there won't be any beta testing for the MMM. There wasn't any for the Sidewinder or CCBEC, either.

my friend uses mechanical brake in his LSP with MGM 12018-3 and no problems. you cannot completely turn brake off but with proper Radio setup ESC wont do anything if you push brake

I use mech brake on my MGM 9032 and it works well. Its a great controller, but they really need to do some more work on the software to get the brake/rev tweaked. Last time I talked to them they were working on some new firmware, but cars are only a small part of their business, so it doesn't get as much attention. One thing also is they are really well built controllers. My MM seems cheap in comparison, OTOH it is :)
It would be nice to see how the MMM does. I'm all settled on my setup, but it will be great to see a real 1/8th scale package hit the market. Hopefully it will end all that silly Vtwin crap. Hopefully factory 1/8th scale electrics follow soon.
