WOW!!!! there is not much more I can say...As far as the expense goes, can you REALLY put a price on FUN and a pure adrenaline rush?

Agreed!... One can't and one shouldn’t!.. I’m just so anal retentive: I keep all of records very detailed for others or myself in regards to future builds and past mistakes / blunders.

Thanks for looking and leaving your comments..

Have a great one.. Magman..

Ok.. the Mod’s continue (sue me)
Here I’ve got a before and after shot of my spur gear, since I couldn’t find one black "mod 1" to use with my current setup, I simply made it black Via Dye. I think it turned out ok?? And it allows me to run a 52/24 combo..

I'm taking any suggestions in-regards to proper gearing combination?? If you have any recommendation fell free to toss them my way..

Before

After

Thanks again for your time and have a great one..

I have a t-maxx and have changed it two times...stock, installed the Dynamite.28 kit, and now brushless...(almost done). For me it almost as much fun to upgrade these trucks as it is to run. Now, when I am finished w/ my upgrade, I won't have to wrench on it as much!

I installed what I thought were upgrades to make it "bomb proof", in reading these forums, my perspective on "bomb proof" has drastically changed and so have my upgrades...my point is if you REALLY want to have fun, you need to pony up the cash for the best of the best and then and hopefully then...no worries!!! I think that’s probably a good start. It seems high initially when coupled with the Emaxx 2nd gear and 1/8 diffs, but when you combine it with that low KV Neu motor barely turning 30k on 6S, I think you could probably run whatever gearing you want and not have to worry about excessive heat.

Hay xcntrk!.. That’s what I', hopping for not to hot of an application.. I'll just need to keep my eye on the temps for a while and experiment with different setups. I'm glad to hear that at lest my starting point wont be a bad place..

Thanks for the advise..

Have a great one..

Shaun.

Man that is nice Shawn. Every time I go through your build I keep thinking I should of did that too. Looks like it going to be damn tough with the diffs you got. I used some lexan under the motor on my g3r also. I have the mm so it doesn't fit under the motor but it close to it. I cut a little part out and installed a small fan that blows up from the bottom. Needed it with the Novak but the Neu is running cool. So now it just a hole in the lexan with a fan. I'm on my second stock differential. I wish I would of got the diffs to begin with.......

I'm running 54/26 on my G3R Neu 1515 1/ w/ 4s same tranny but diff are stock. I haven't played much with the gearing once I put those on.

Hay Gee..
I’ve seen your build (it’s awesome!) inspired me to build mine.. (Don’t kid yourself)..

Thanks for the gearing suggestions..

FYI..
I just received my body a few minutes ago and I'm confirmed with Mike / Fast lane for the show tomorrow! :), I'm showing casing two of my builds there (dream come true) of course I’ll be up all night getting them ready. &!!! my MGM controller came to life this morning..

Good times ahead.. Good times..

It's always pleasure and have a great one Sir
Shaun.
