"The art of paying attention..." Guess I missed that day at school!!!!
Edit that, the SLASH uses 2.2 wheels, the SLAYER has the weird stepped bead. So any 2.2 wheel will fit the slash tires, and vice versa
Quite right BB16, Glad that I bought the wheels and tires as a set of brand new take offs. Wonder if the slash and the slayer use the same tires? The axle diamter of a revo is larger than a rusty/pede by one mm. Plus it looks like the slayer uses hexes, while the slash uses pins. The slash wheels have different offsets front and rear too.

They use hexes, you can see it in other drawings it just doesn't show in that rendering.

Yeah, the Stampede uses the pins and then a plastic hex over the top

I like the part where they use the bats on that guy kinda reminds me of the ending of that movie casino.

Got most of the chassis together! Still searching for a good deal on a body...
I am also waiting on the shocks, and the bumpers. Seems like a nice sized truck, can't wait to get it runnng. I think I will use a hacker b50 12s motor with a sidewinder esc. I have a couple of neuenergy 3s lipos I can use with it. The 12s and a mm was a good setup in my pede, so it should work well in the slash.
BTW, the slash uses hexes, std black ones in the rear, and the thicker grey ones in the front, just like a vxl or xl5 pede/rustler. Wheels are std 2.2 size, and so are the tires, but they are quite narrow. Looks to be a stout truck, with plenty of room on the chassis!

fair warning limp, the huge front of the slash body acts like a kite for anything over 55mph lol i was doing speed runs in the school parking lot about the time i hit top speed ( 60 forsure) it took flight and went about head high landed on the lid and slid on its lid for over 50 feet before it turned sideways and started flipping lol burnt right through my antenna tube and antenna and almost trough the back of the cab on the body. so be sure and gear it for 50 or less lol or keep the antenna under the body lol.
