Having some fun with 8s, 9s and 10s A123 cells (videos) - 07.08.2008, 07:37 PM

After switching from a Neu 1512/2Y (1400kv) to a Neu 1515/2Y (1100kv) i made some test runs with 8s, 9s and 10s A123 cells. This setup powers a 1:8 buggy/truggy hybrid (Robitronic Protos buggy Chassis with Robitronic Mantis truggy arms and tires). Overall gearing is 1:13 with a 14 tooth pinion and a centerdiff filled with 30000 silicone oil. ESC: Kontronik Jazz 55-10-32.

Click me to see me run with 8s A123 (Max 25500rpm, 78A, 1620 Watt)

Click me to see me run with 9s A123 (Max 28000rpm, 85A, 1920 Watt)

Click me to see me run with 10s A123 (Max 31000rpm, over 2KW)

Click me to see a short slowmotion clip.
