keep in mind when i talk about a mm im refering the one with griffin's stage one mod, it basically makes it to where it is designed to run on 4s and 5s, a stock mm wouldnt hold a stick to either of these two on 4 or 5s. i would know, i thermalled the stock mm in 12 minutes on 5s

I think its a fair comparison as they are used in the same applications as well. I always liked my MGM, but I always used mech brakes and no reverse.

Gotta add that I much prefer the LVC on the mgm as it seems to actually work, unadj as it is. I've over-discharged a few packs w/ the MM when the lvc didn't really cutoff. I put it on the ET to look at it and I was getting spikes way below the cutoff point. Really it didn't cut until packs were dumped and voltage was way down. Anymore I just stop when the power drops off, regardless of the LVC. I never seemed to have such problems w/ the MGM.

not only but also you can buy 2x MM and CC ubec for the price of 1 mgm , and customer service for mgm is terrible , i sent my mgm back 2months ago , and no replies to emails or anything , even though im in australia , i would rather deal with CC ( i just sent back a cooked MM last night)

oh and not only that because they are half the price , you can always run the second MM until warranty returns come back ..

i gave mgm a go , had 4 of those controllers and i totally dont rate them or trust them. 3 of them have failed.

ive been using MM on 4s 1y , and now 5s 1y .. and just had my first failure ( 5s 1.5D !!!)
but that was because my battery tray slide across and jammed my spur over a jump and the motor locked and probly pulled masssive amps for the poor lil MM.

castle all the way !!! and cant wait for the MMM as all of you are too ..

That's odd as I've always got quick emails back from Grisa or Petr...

idunno how a 4s acts but my 5s has a VERY noticable powerdrop before you hit either one of these cutoffs, when its drops power i usally cut the track or finsh my lap (which ever is closer) and pull in.... so technically ive never hit the cut off on either the lowest ive gotten my 5s was 3.42v each , the mm lvc is set to 3.3v each and the mgm all the way at 3.1v each.
