I think you will find a problem with short wires the cc has very short wire

The wires that come with the motor are imensely long, about 6 1/2 inch iirc

which is why I shortened mine to 4.5 and put the MMM right behind the motor

so is this motor as good as the tekno neus? i am told the Teknos are hand-built and the CCs are machine-built. those longer wires would have been nice on my RC8t build. it would have saved me having to use an extra bullet to connect to the esc and shaved off dreaded resistance.

btw, that motor looks pretty sick. have you ever run a Tekno Neu or regular Neu? how does the Castle compare?

James that is incorrect, the CC motors are hand wound and built :)

are you serious? where did you read that? how come everyone was saying different? if i would have known that i would have waited and bought one of those instead. damn!

if you look at the length of the 2200kv Castle Neu it is actually the same length as the 1521 Neus i think. its a beast!

The CC motors are china assembled. The Neu motors are US assembled. Parts for both are made in china.

FWIW I do not think the neu windings can be done on a machine, the design is too complex or just not economical to do that. I may be wrong, as I have no motor winding experience (and only a little experience unwinding motors, never on purpose!).
