Just chillin' - 03.01.2009, 06:42 PM

If anybody is watching this thread, here is a little update. It sounds like I will be actually moving tomorrow to a nursing home. I have never been to one that has internet access, so I might not be online for a month or more. Which of course really sucks. On top of all my other worries I don't have renters insurance. I have removed my r/c's and computer from my apartment, so the important thinggs are safe.
I'm pretty heavily medicated for pain, so if my writings are redundant or don't make sense, blame it on the pain meds.
Since I'm paralyzed I can't feel anything below my nipples. absolutely no sensation. But I have the staff here convinced that the pain from my surgery on my arse is unbearable.
All of the cute nurses are married. I'm still doing you all proud and flirting with them all.
The pain meds are kicking in I haveno idea mwhere this post is headed, so I'll sign off. I'll talk to you guys as soon as I can. I miss my RCM family and wish you all well. Peace Out to one and all. -Harold

Harold,

Now you make the best of your stay in the Nursing Home... and get better soon fast. The sedation will help you relax

Don't worry, be happy. - 03.01.2009, 07:50 PM

With you Harold all that comes to mind is that Bob Marley song. "Don't worry, be happy", while thinking of you stoned on meds trying to cop a feel from the nurses. You seem to always try in making the best of whatever situation you may be in. So don't give up on that motivation. We will all be here when you get back waiting to give you a hard time. Sorry to hear about this setback, but life goes on. We are glad that you are not really in any pain, but don't get yourself hooked on the meds or the soap operas. Spend your time working on a new design for your next R/C project, or even some patent for some new invention that we can all benefit from. Life's too short to waste time sitting around feeling sorry for ones self, so don't get caught up in any of that crap. We have plenty of verbal abuse for you right here, and James needs your supportive banter to keep him in line, so get back here soon. See you back in here in a month or so. Good luck old man.

SUPERMAXX YOUR LIFE.

Most nursing home rooms have phone jacks which means you can at least get dial up. I know that is archaic but better than nothing. Good luck you are in our prayers.

Hang in there Harold, it will be back to normal before you know it.

Besides, those older ladies in there could make you there "Boy Toy"
