It is a good charger, but is limited to 50 watts output. So it can do 5 amps charge on 2-3s but after that the rate will drop. On 6s you may get 2.5 amps out of it, so a 2 hr charge time for a 5000 pack.
It is important to look at the output watts, divide them by the lipo voltage you plan to charge (6s = 4.2vx6= 25.2v) and you will get the amp capabilities. So the 610i at 250 watt output can charge a 6s pack up to 9.9amps. You would also need a good power supply to get that out of it.
At 12v imput you would need 21amps of power supply, figure in some losses, like 30% and you need something near 30amps worth of capability from your power supply. If you can push the voltage up to 15v, you can get away with less amp capability, but some PS will not let you adjust the voltage.
