the flm is 190 mm from center to center of screw holes.
The gmaxx is 194 from center to center. What about the foam padding? You want wideth and length or combo. the pad is 55mm wide and 215mm long.
Peace!

The FLM battery holders are pretty much done. The protos work great for top mounting the batteries on the flm chassis or the g-maxx, but are a little thin to work effectively on the bottom. We will thicken the material and go from there. The 4mm difference will require a modification on the g-maxx strap. The FLM straps have elongated holes to work with both.
MDooley - figure about another week. :)

That's great I will check in about a week lol:L: Hey coolhand what I was trying to get the width and length to see if the foam would fit the FLM chasiss. Thanks. :D
WE DON'T STOP PLAYING WHEN WE GET OLD. WE GET OLD WHEN WE STOP PLAYING.
That is no problem dooley. It is tapered on the end so I took the measurement at the points. It should work on the flm. It may not line up with the holes on the the chassis the same. At least no mine.

What are you guys using at the moment? I am using the gorilla maxx straps with the flm ones. I have used zip ties to attach the gorilla maxx straps since i need some nuts to be able to use screws, and i always break a zip tie when i bash lol, i thought thats fine better the zip tie than the strap but now it has gotten annoying and the gorilla maxx strap is nearly ripping. So i thought oh well and used 2 zip ties per side and zip tied the batteries to the chassis aswell as used the gorilla maxx strap and it still didnt work, the battery still moved and hit the rear shocks. so what are u guys using that holds the batteries on really well? its kinda weird how the chassis is nearly flat which allows the batteries to come out the side, and move around, wouldnt it be better to have something like the stock chassis? like how the battery tray on the stock has walls so the battery cant fly out.
I am still trying some things out. I bought some ae cups to mount them with. That seems to work better than anything so far. The cut out in the back make it hard to mount them. I figure out something I post it for you basketti.
Peace!

I'd like to know an update on these also. I was just runnin with my 7-cell IB3800s that are set up for the stock E-Maxx chassis with one cell per offset on top. I about lost one of my entire packs because the straps that came with the FLM chassis just didn't hold.
