I feel that making your own parts helps you know you're truck that much better. I make as much as I can, up to my ability. However, I feel like E-Revonut sometimes also, why am I going to spend countless hours on one part when Mike has some super nice quality parts.

I don't use brushless conversion, even when talking about a former smoker. I use electric conversion, I don't even say brushless conversion involving electrics. I have said converted to brushless power, but never brushless conversion

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I want to see some brushed conversions to tame those nitros that are just too damned fast......

I don't see the appeal still tho, most of the early conversions were way too 'busy'. Mechanically redundant and overcomplicated IMO. With the new ESCs I don't even see a need for a slipper, not to mention the centrif clutch... but then I'm not a racer.

I like some of these super simple layouts I'm seeing- direct drive and absolute minimum parts I think is the way to go... but I do appreciate the work that goes into the conversions also.. and I mean the REAL conversions
