I ran back to the pits and was going to throw another pinion on, when I set it on my table the pinion rolled out ,SWEET, threw it back on and tightened the piss out of it and got back on the track. About two laps later as I approaced the triple I spun out Had no idea what happen till I ran out and picked it up. My axle popped out of the drive cup and wedged between the cup and lower arm. That completely took me out of the race I have some videos I will post once they load up on youtube.

sounds like you need to A. grind a flat spot on the shaft(or a bigger one) and B. get some red locktite

Motoris a Tekno Neu, it came with a flat spot, and I'm not gonna make it bigger. I prefer blue over red loktite as I have stripped many heads on things using red, but mine is a couple years old so I'm just gonna try some new loktite.

Looks like you had some fun out there!! Once you get some driving skills down, you'll have a strong truck out there! It definitely shines in the acceleration on some of those jumps you were taking!!
A couple basic things:
1. Rhythm on jumps is the key. More time in the air means less time putting power down on the track!
2. try taking turn tighter. focus on entering the corner and coming out as clean and fast as possible.
3. Focus on driving your truck, not what is coming behind you. I noticed a couple times that your driving went down the drain when someone was behind you. I know it sucks to be passed, but focus on making your lap times, especially in heat racing!
Work on just these 3 things will will drop seconds off your lap times! Otherwise looks good! Have fun!

Just got back from my second track day, it was even better then the first. I ran my Truggy and also eovnu87435ds's Hyper 7 Buggy. Throughout the heat i was plauged with a couple of problems.. most of which could have and should have been avoided.
Motor shifted in the motor mount of the hyper seven the first heat. then kept throwing the batteries from the car. and in the main a bad solder joint failed and ended my round with 1:30 left....:(
My truggy ran well, the first heat I had a kingpin screw come out on me- I continued with the one remaining screw.... I dont know what it was but it made the truck handle better then it would normally. I Put down my fastest lap which was a 35.5sec or so- The leaders were turning 32second laps. Second heat (after fixing the truck) a second king pin fell out and took the front left cvd out of the diff cup and thats what ended my second heat. Upon further inspection of said failure- i came to find that the incedent stressed my front diff to the point of breaking the front bearing holder of the diff case clean off. Luckily I had a spare diff case laying in my toolbox and all the internals swapped right over.. Alright now that the truck is fixed dont touch it untill the main!
Started the mains with my trusty Rcm 5200mah hardcased packs. ran flawlessly for the first 7 minutes of the 15 minute heat. then I noticed the packs were a going a bit flat- not hitting cutoff but i was not able to clear the jumps as easily as I had wanted. So I had My pit man swap packs to my smc 4100s to finish the race. They ran perfect until my truck started clicking and popping under acceleration- It got progressively worse thoughout the main and with 1 minute left in the main I decided to start tip-toeing the truck trying not to hurt anything. I placed 3rd out of 12 (WITH A BATTERY SWAP!) with a wounded truck. I sure had a blast! Anyone in the NJ/De/PA area needs to get out to trax 70!!

Did Khaz go? I told him that you would be going and for him to check out your set up. He wants to get something like my Mugen MBX5T, but I told him there are more affordable options out there. He already has a Savage XL that he might convert.

Black guy, knows the owners and I think he'll be the race or track director there. He came by my house Friday to get his ESC and I told him you were going to race and for him to check out your conversion.
