I dont know- do a mock up and see how things fit together.. or not, as the case may be- you may be able to use one or both shafts, in which case you may also be able to find a suitable dogbone if one doesnt fit ( I'd look at other people's maxxes using the center diff unit and see what they did ).

If you use 2 of these:

then you can use the long plastic driveshafts, just trim the lengths to fit correctly.

Hmmm... Here are a few steps you can use to find the required shafts:

- assemble the motor/CD mount making sure it's a nice and snug fit for both CD bearings (very little play as possible). If shimming does not help to make a tight fit,
you'll have to modify the upper plate of the universal mount by drilling a second hole to move the front vertical closer to the CD

- mark and drill holes on the CD mounting plate (use the gearbox skid plate already mounted on your truck)

- with a 52 tooth spur, you will need to remove some material from the upper plate of the chassis for it to fit

- install the assembled unit and make sure the spur has enough clearance...

- with the unit installed, you can go ahead and measure the distance between the diff output cups to find out what shaft lengths are required

- compare the measurements with current shafts on the market... if you can't find a match for your specs... shoot Mike mail and see if he can help you with some custom cuts

A second hole drilled in the middle of third piece from the left might be required to have the CD fit well

Rear bearing not sitting in the rear bearing seat fully

The gearbox skid plate seen here will work for you CD mounting plate if you don't already have one

They are quite few members using the universal mount in their rides... maybe you can do some reading and see other techniques/methods of getting them mounted up...

you can start here: Hey Monster Mike: Maxx CD

Should be fine... the chassis brace will be doing most of the work...

Sorry, I know what I ment- the FLM 3905 chassis yeah. You wont have any extra room for the center diff unit spur gear though, thats what I was trying to point out; same width space in the middle of the chassis where the tranny normally goes.

It will work okay, but you will find that you have to gear up alot due to the extra gearing reduction the spiral cut diffs have. You may also find that you wear out & kill the bearings on the pinion shaft as they create alot of side-load as they spin vs the straight cut gears.

Spiral gears are better for use with just a center diff unit because you need extra reduction ( due to not having a tranny ), so it wont hurt to install them now and play with the gearing..

I need titanium skids.
I guess hcr titanium skids is the best but i cant find them. How is the integy titanium skids?

Will plastic stockshafts fit the ue arms? Rpm carrier?

HCR stopped selling r/c parts a while back, no idea how good or bad the Integy Ti skids are.

You should be fine with the newer-spec/ design plastic drive shafts, they hold up well & rarely see twisted ones. Should fit fine with the UE arms if they are compareable in length to stock 3905 arms, just use the newer style RPM carriers to match the shafts:

Very rare stuff... you'll have to look out for them on ebay... sometimes a pair (front/rear) or two might pop up there... good luck.
